Elisa Roland
Special Events Coordinator
Director of Fine Arts
Receptionist
Elisa Roland will be the first to tell you she does a little bit of everything round the church, but in doing so, she speaks not out of pride but rather to serve her Lord, her pastors and the body of Christ.
Elisa serves as Fine Arts Director / Director of Productions of the Heart, Special Events Coordinator, receptionist, manager of the Heartrock Café, administrative assistant to Pastor Ken and Dawn Smith, maintains the church membership database and is in charge of visitation and follow-up.
Elisa has attended Heartland Church since 1995 before leaving for Texas Bible Institute in Columbus, Texas in the fall of 1998. During the last three months of Bible College, Elisa said God spoke very clearly to her heart that she was to return to Heartland Church and serve Pastors Ken and Dawn. She returned to Brownwood in the fall of 2000 and submitted herself to her pastors. She worked full time outside of the church and volunteered in any way needed at the church from cleaning to coordinating special events.
She held to the Word she had received at school, believing God was faithful, and in July of 2002 came on full-time at Heartland Church.
Elisa considers it an honor to serve such an incredible church family.
Elisa grew up in a Christian home with praying parents who taught Elisa and her two brothers at home and brought them up in church. She says her life is a testimony to the power of God to keep a person from harm.

She said He kept her from drugs, alcohol and unhealthy romantic entanglements throughout her teenage years, a time when many fall away from the goodness of God to “discover who they are.
Having been taught firmly who she was in Christ at home kept at bay the lie of the devil that the answer to life’s questions could be found in the things of the world.
Elisa has been married to Chris Roland for several years and lives in Bangs, Texas.
Some of her life scriptures are 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.”
Psalm 37:3-7 “Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass. And He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; fret not thyself because of Him who prospereth in his ways, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.”
A heart to serve the Lord, her pastors and her church family is the backbone of her ministry and work at the church along with a desire to minister restoration power and love to the hurting.
